Oh Boy!

Conn and I decided to try out Dan's new Crossfit class at Fast Trac Performance in the Valley. Wow, it is super intense! I know I am going to be walking funny for the next couple days, but it is so worth it. One t-shirt said "Our warm-up is your workout" and that is right on the money! We could have been done after the warm up and still been sore. But we decided to press on. Just to give you an idea of the intensity the names of our exercises were: "Thrusters," "Hang Cleans," and then "Sumo Dead Lift Raises" which you had to do as many times as you could in 20 minutes. Let me tell you, after three sets I asked Kenton how long we had been going because I am thinking I am about to tap out, his reply is "6 minutes" OMG!

Anyways, it was hard, great and we are going back!

Conn vs. Molly

Who will get the stick?

Spoiler Alert: Molly wins!

Fun, Friends and Family!

The last two weekends have been full of fun, friends and family!

For the second year in a row, in September we have gone to Greenbluff to wine taste, pick blackberries and get pumpkin doughnuts. Here we are with our blackberries, they were delicious! I took them in to school to share with my sixth graders for snack, they loved them!

Last weekend we went to the Kevin and Grace's Family cabin on Pend O'reille River. I love going to this cabin for so many reasons: it is so comfy, beautiful and inviting, it is in the middle of the forest but right next to the river, and the company there is always the best!

We went for a four mile walk along the RR tracks to a train bridge, sadly we didn't see a train. But the walk was nice and refreshing.
My brother, Andrew and his girlfriend, Becca came up for the weekend (Oct18-19). On Sunday, we took them to Greenbluff and we got to see the pumpkin cannon for the first time, which is so impressive (it goes a lot higher than I thought it would!), then we went and bought candy from the Ellie's Candy Shoppe, it is to die for, everything was so good! Then we went to the Harvest House for lunch and bought Pumpkin Doughnuts for Conn's parents(we had some too!:). There was a big festival going on with lots of vendors and music, and hay rides. I didn't get to go on a hayride, but I want to next year! :) It was such a beautiful fall day, I can't get over how perfect the weather was!
Andrew and Becca

On our way home we passed Cat Tales, my brother being the cat enthusiast that he is asked if we could go, and it was pretty awesome to see these big, strong animals. Andrew signed up for the Big Cat Adventure, he got to feed one of the tigers, pretty awesome! Here is the MGM lion that Cat Tales rescued. Here's to great weekends with great people! Love you all!
Hey Peeps,

I know it has been a while, so here is what is new!

*Angie is getting her Masters of Education at WSU, and it is kicking her booty, thankfully she is with four other friends going through the same program!
*Conn has started remodeling the basement, Yea, here comes the movie room!
*Angie turns 25 on Oct. 24th and Conn turned 26 last May 26th, it was his golden b-day.
*Conn's mom, Micki, turns 50 on Halloween! She is such a witchy woman! :)
*We have been blessed with amazing friends, who we love to hang out with as often as we can!
*Our families are pretty rad too!!!!

Here's some pictures of everything that we have been up to.

Conn and I took a trip late summer to see my side of the family at Camano Island just north of Seattle. We took the Old Cascade Highway, and it was absolutely AMAZING! So beautiful, here is a picture of us in front of Diablo Lake. Just breathtaking.!
Here I am with my grandparents, George and Emmie who I love dearly on Camano Island, we are walking down on the beach on a beautiful windy summer day!
Our friends Nate and Julie had to move away to Princeton. We miss them so much already, so this is the last time our bible study was together before they left! Good luck guys, we love you!
This was one of those Sunday's I was studying up stairs doing homework and I needed a break, so I went to see what Conn and Randy had accomplished down stairs (if you haven't seen me for a while I also got a new hair do, here it is!).

Here is my honey sawing away at our wall, so we can have a beautiful window!

We had to haul in two pallets worth of sheet rock, anyone who has ever carried the stuff before knows it is heavy, so after 5 1/2 feet tall we were finally done. Here is our wonderful family who worked with us until the bitter end. Thanks guys!

Hello all you fabulous friends! I have not been a very good "blogger," but I promise I will do better in the future. :)

July 4th on Pend Oreille Lake (freezing!)

Conn and I recently celebrated our 2 year anniversary on July 1. We had a wonderful dinner overlooking the Spokane River at Clinkerdagger's Restaurant. We sat outside under the canopy with a light breeze while we were enjoying our meal. I have to say the food was fantastic!! I had been saving a new dress I bought for the occasion and I have to say it was worth the $!! If you remember this was the Tuesday when we got that really big dust/wind storm. So at the tail end of our dinner and dessert it got a little crazy outside, good thing we just finished our drinks and dessert!

After dinner, when the wind storm was swirling around us!

This last weekend we had a hair raising, wild, screaming time! It all started Friday night. Conn and I went to "The Dark Knight" (the new Batman). Have to say we loved it! For one I absolutely love Christian Bale, not only is he a great actor, but easy on the eyes too (he ranks up there for me along with the new 007)!! Heath Ledger's performance was great, and I say that not because he has past on, but because it was truly a "scary" performance, he was probably the best villain Batman has seen!

On Saturday, we continued with our "Screaming" weekend and went to Silverwood. Conn and I were accompanied on this great adventure by Kenny and Rachel, Grace (Rachel's sister) and Ali (Grace's friend). We had a great time at the water park the first half of the day and on the rides the second half. We enjoyed good old fair food while we were there. I had to get my elephant ear and Conn demanded that everyone has to try a funnel cake once in there life, and Saturday was that day! So we all split our desserts and loaded up as many quarters as we could with our remaining cash so we could shoot off the geysers on the log ride, soaking people at 9pm at night. It was the highlight of the day!! I have to say my favorite group we got was a bunch of older elementary school girls that screamed and hollered when we soaked them. The best was when we were walking back they came out of the ride fuming and complaining to their chaperon, and he just told them to get over it. I laughed so hard!!

When we left Silverwood, we went to Conn's parents cabin outside of Sandpoint and crashed for the night. The next day was absolutely stunning, what summer is all about. A great day on the lake, tubing, water skiing, jumping off cliffs and just soaking up the sun! Nate and Julie joined our groups for Sunday. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Julie and I were tubing on one tube and Grace and Ali were on the other, which I think was a little smaller and definitely more awkward to stay on. So we are laying on our stomachs trying to stay on as Conn is trying to be nice driving, the girls (Grace and Ali) start out like us on their stomachs and as we start going Julie and I look over and they are flipping out because they are going to fall, so Ali (love the girl) decides to climb over Grace and hook her hands in the most awkward handles and she is like a frog on top of Grace gritting her teeth and hanging on for dear life! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt!

Here is Kenny and Rachel tubing! Way to go brave girl! I swear Conn didn't dump you on purpose! :)

Nate and Julie, who will be leaving us soon for the East Coast! Losers, we'll miss you! :)

Ali waiting to get her tubing on!!

Rachel and Grace looking hot!

My handsome hubby driving while Kenny is skiing!

Conn and I on a beautiful Sunday in 2008!

Well that's all for now folks, see you soon! Love ya!- Angie

A Little About My Life

In 2006 I graduated from College with my BA in Education, two weeks later I married the love of my life on July 1st, then headed to Los Cabos, Mexico for our Honeymoon(highly recommend it). Conn and I will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary this coming July!! :) The years have gone by amazingly fast!

Conn recently got a new job as a home health physical therapist, so he will go to peoples houses who need pt mostly after a recent surgery. I am the LAP (Learning Assistance Program) teacher at an Elementary school, so I get to help kids in smaller group settings mainly with reading and math, LOVE IT! I am a workout fiend, I miss it if I skip for a week. I am training right now for a sprint triathlon, haven't decided yet which one I want to try first, but am happy training for something!

We bought a new house in February! This winter was the second highest snow recorded in our history, and our house didn't break ground until November 14; it was being built while feet and feet of snow dumped on it. Even with all the weather slowing the builders down, they got it done on time!! Of course the day we moved in it snowed 3-5 inches, but it stopped just in time for us to move that evening. The best thing about our house is we have a beautiful wetland behind our house. I just love to sit and watch the ducks and other wild life come and go.
